The Metal Insert is not available as a replacement part for Part no EXT103 It is very hard to get the metal insert out without damaging it . The tricky bit comes when trying to refit it, there are no special tools. If you have been unable to do this, then the alternative is to fit the later windscreen rubber EXT105, with this plastic chrome insert GLS111 and using the special tool GLS150.
