These fuel pumps have been designed as dual polarity so that they can be installed regardless of the positive or negative polarity of your vehicle.So if your vehicle is negative earth then the positive terminal must be connected to the ignition feed supply and negative terminal to the chassis.However, if your vehicle is positive earth, then the positive terminal must be connected to the chassis and negative terminal connected to the ignition feed supply.
